The Tiny Chao Garden is a minigame found in Sonic Advance, Sonic Advance 2, Sonic Pinball Party, and downloadable from Sonic Adventure 2 Battle, Sonic Adventure DX, and Phantasy Star Online.
You can connect the Tiny Chao Garden to the Chao Garden and transfer Chao back and forth between the two.
The Chao has a happiness bar called "Mood." You can increase this by petting it and feeding it. Mood lowers when weeds grow in your garden, so be sure to pluck them.
When you press L, you'll reveal the shop. The shop contains various fruit, toys, and eggs. The eggs found in the Tiny Chao Garden are all Jewel Eggs, making the Tiny Chao Garden very useful for getting the rare Jewel Chao. Additionally, it's the only way to buy normal Chao Eggs
Shop Items Edit
|Trumpet||1000 Rings||A trumpet. Give it to your Chao to have it play a short tune.|
|Duck||2000 Rings||A duck. It floats in the pond and basically nothing else.|
|TV||8000 Rings||A TV. Sometimes the Chao will sit and watch TV.|
The Tiny Chao Garden has two GBA's. Clicking on one will load a mini game for you to play to earn rings. The Minigame on the White GBA differs depending on what version your garden is.
All Version 1 gardens come with Janken. Shoot the arrow at the block like rock, paper, scissors. If it beats it, you earn rings. If it ties, it removes the tile, but no rings are collected. If it loses, you lose a life. The game ends when all lives are lost or when time runs out
Cream and Cheese Edit
In Sonic Advance 2, you play a minigame with Cream and Cheese. Use the A button to send Cheese flying in the air to collect rings. Collect all the rings to pass on to the next level. The game ends when all lives are lost.
Chao Search Edit
Downloadable from Sonic Adventure DX, you play as Sonic looking for a lost Chao. Use Tikal to find hints about the Chao and bring it to Cheese for rings. If it's right, you get 5 rings and 10 extra seconds. If it's wrong, you lose 30 seconds. Be sure you choose the right one.
Chao Ball Edit
In Sonic Pinball Party, you have Chao Ball. Press the A or B button to fling either a red or green ball. When 10 balls touch, they disappear. When you survive long enough, you can progress to the next level. The game ends when a ball enters the purple area.
Chao Memory Edit
In all Chao Gardens, the purple GBA brings up Chao Memory. Use the A button to flip the cards and match them. You only get 3 mistakes. The game ends when all 3 mistakes are used or all cards have been found. If you win, the amount of mistakes add to your ring total. No mistakes=60 rings, 1 mistake=30 rings, 2 mistakes=10 rings.
